These imun factors can protect the infant from infection. WHO reccomends exclusive breastfeeding for six months, but in Indonesia only 52,3% babies get exclusive breastfeeding in 2014. Diarrhoea is one of the infection that can be prevented wih exclusive breastfeeding. In 2013 diarrhoea is the first leading cause 29days-11months infant mortality and 18 outbreaks in 2015. Method : This study uses cross sectional method, by interviewing parents who has children aged 6 -12 months years old about exclusive breastfeeding history and clinical symptoms of Retroviral diarrhoea using questionnaire. Data analysis use Mann Whitney test. Result : Characteristic data shows that children aged 6-12 months in Puskesmas Penjaringan, North Jakarta dominant with male gender (53,6%) and non exclusive breastfeeding (51,5%). There was a relationship between exclusive breastfeeding with clinical symptoms of Retroviral diarrhoea in children aged 6 -12 months years old (p=0,000). Conclusion : There is a relationship between exclusive breastfeeding with clinical symptoms of Retroviral diarrhoea in children aged 6 -12 months years old. Children with exclusive breastfeeding dominant with non clinical symthome of Retroviral diarrhoea (72,3%) and in other hands children with non exclusive breastfeeding dominant with acut clinical symthome of Retroviral diarrhoea (78%).
