Isi artikel
An essential task in any study that examines the contextual determinats of health behaviors and outcomes is to identify the appropriate geographic area to be used as the basis for deriving exposure measures. Historically, most studies start from conventional and static notions of place or neighborhood, which is often identified in terms of administrative units such as census tracts, census block groups, or post-code areas. These units are convenient because available data of censuses and surveys that can be used to derive contextual measures are often tied to them.
