Isi artikel
As soon as I received the news about the JW Marriott bombing on august 5, I had little doubt about the identity of the perpetrators. This was a large car bomb, aimed at a symbol of America, with the pure intent of killing as many people as possible. We have seen this brand of terrorism before: in Bali, Mombasa, and New York City. And we can be sure that we will see more of it in the future, abd that it will carry the imprint of al-Qaeda or like-minded extremist groups such as Jamaah Islamiyah. The only thing that remains uncertain is where and when the next attack will occur.
