A research on the status of oral Hygiene has been conducted among 86 persons aged above 20 years at desa Cijeruk., Bogor regency. It was revealed that oral hygiene status of respondents can not able to prevent periodontal disorders. their plaque and calculus index increased respectively together with their increasing ages. the increase on plaque and calculus index did not cause any improvement on gingival inflammation since the formed calculus was supra gingiva calculus.
