An evaluation study to investigate attitude and behaviour of health providers and society in rational medicine use has been done in an experiment area in Gresik and Pauruan district (East Java) and Pasaman district (West Sumatra). The study design was in teh from of cross sectional survey with closed ended questionnaire. Comunnity leaders and Caders were taken as respondents with the assumption that the group were able to influence the attitude and view of the society. The other respondents were mothers of infants with the assumption that they always took care of their sick children. Intervention Carried out by campaigning "using Medicine Rationally". The rationaly indicators were ISPA (Accute Respiratory Tract Infection) and Diarrhoea, since these two diseases have high prevalences at the public Health Center (PUSKESMAS) and have already had its diagnostic/therapy standard.
