The Coral reef ecosystem is a structure of thousands coral which become a place to live and shelter for various fishes and other sea creatures. This ecosystem has an important and significant value in economic and ecological aspects. Karimunjawa (Jepara, Centre Java) Islands, is one of the place in Indonesia has a potential resources of coral reef which as a famous tourism destination must be considered to keep the continuity of coral reef by giving more attention in it's management and development. The objective of this research is to analyze the spectral of Landsat-7 ETM data for supporting coral reefs mapping. The method used analyzing of classified and identification image model based on value formation from spectral or energy reflectance from water bottom. The result of the study indicated that the identification of coral reefs spatial information at the Landsat-7 ETM satellite image will give more result detail by using Ikonos satellite image as the complement data.
