Potential Habitats or vreeduing places of Aedes species as the vector of DDS/DBD have been studies in Manado Municipality in 2003. the purpose of this research were (1) to know the kinds of vreeding places or habitats of species. (2) to know the level of investation by measuring the idencis. (3) to identifity the species. this research was carried out in 15 suburb samples. the result show that the potensial habitats or dominant breeding places of Aedes spp are used tires, out door stored wateer conteiners (iron drums/buckets), rain filled empty cans or food tins, and bath room cisterns. The minor breeding places are artificial ponds, flower vases, pet drinking weater containers, and Colocasia leaf axils.
