Moses Diala Opara(1915-65), known popularly as M.D., was born in the village of Obazu Mbieri, near Owerri, in southeastern Nigeria. He was tall and handsome, athletic, and in the worlds of his associates, "a really jolly good fellow". He was in the worlds of his associates, who had four children-three boys and one girl.
