Abstract
Background: Transgender Male to Female (MtF) are people who born as male but identified themselves as female. Transgender MtF in Indonesia often experienced rejection and harassments. They are people who have risk of using and addicted to addictive substances due to rejection and bullying they got from family, friends, and society.

Goals: To know the profile and history of addictive substances use in Transgender MtF at Sanggar SWARA Jakarta.

Method: This research is a cross-sectional towards 110 transgender MtF who are members of Sanggar SWARA. The tools used here are demographics questionnaire and ASSIST which are filled in by the transgender directly. Result is analyzed in a descriptive way.

Result: There are 106 respondents, range of ages between 18-45 years old, the average is 28.5 years old. Most of them came from the Western Jakarta (25.5%), highest education is high school (51.9%), have a job (64.2%), less wage (67%), and Java ethnic (26.4%). Most of them (77%) have history of using addictive substances. History of substances used in the highest risk is (48.1%) tobacco, while the ones in the lowest risks are (60.5%) alcohol, (86.4%) stimulant, (93.9%) sedative, (95.1%) cannabis, (95.1%) cocaine, (96.3%) hallucinogen, (96.3%) other substances, (98.8) inhalant, (98.8%) opioid. Most (98.5%) of them never use an injected addictive substance

Conclusion: Transgender MtF have a high risk of using addictive substance, especially tobacco.
