Abstract
Color blindness is decreases the ability to see color differences, even in normal lighting conditions. In general, people with color blindness cannot distinguish between green and blue. In daily life, they cannot distinguish the colors of blue and green socks. This research uses smartphone to support color blindness in matching pair of socks with different color. This application uses android operating system. Application can know similar color by using color distance. Color distance or color spacing is a mathematical model to know which color represents the number. We can find the distance between colors by using Euclidean Distance. But, the perception of brightness by the human eye is non-linear. From the experiments it appears that the curve for this non-linearity is not the same for each color. It is necessary to adjust the color of the image because human vision is different from camera. Each color will be weighted to color in the image according to human vision. Giving weight 2 on red, 4 on green, and 3 on blue can provide implements of colors seen with the human eye.
