The technology has been rapidly developed to the more efficient, eco-friendly, and worth energy saving technology. It also motivates the applied technology for vehicles to be more evolve and innovative. For instance, the fuel distribution system technology has changed from carburetor technology became sprayed directly into the combustion chamber or pre-combustion chamber, called Fuel Injection. With the aim to reduce engine losses, especially the effect of pumping loss, test bench is needed to detect volumetric efficiency and energy power loss as the effect of pumping losses. Therefore, this final project disscuses the design of bench for fuel injection motorcycle gasoline based. The test bench is firstly designed with the Solidworks software. Furthermore, the manufacturing process is done with bench work method, such as cutting, welding, as well as manual or conventional work. The tachometer, anemometer and thermocouple gauge are installed for measuring and determining the volumetric efficiency of the engine, thus the test bench can be used for testing and has succeeded in determining the volumetric efficiency of fuel injection motorcycle gasoline based, and may be further developed for research or experiment. |
