Therefore the company is required to continue to evolve to meet consumer demand. Improving the quality of the products become the main solution determining the success of the products sold in the market. Despite the existing competition looks so tight but every small and large industries have the technological progress and quality production standards vary. Quality is the overall characteristics of a product or service that can provide added perceived impression by each customers or consumers. In this study, will be handling the problems related to the quality of the products contained in the PT. Kartika Naya. Lean six sigma approach or commonly known methods of six sigma DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control). This method consists of several distinct phases which can explain the product quality problems as well as providing recommendations improvement efforts. After analysis related to the production of folding boxes is known that the main problem faced by the company is that there are 9 criteria of defects originating from the third stage of the production process is different from the possibility of failure of the highest product, the printing process (printing), cutting (pond) and the process glueing (finishing). Quality of the products are applied in PT. Kartika Naya is still in the range. The implementation of control will be the final stage in this approach to any given proposal fixes can run smoothly and bring improvements to the company's production system. Results obtained at the end of this study signifies that the six sigma DMAIC method approach will be one of the methods of improvement in product quality improvement program at the company.
