This research aims to investigate the effect of Employee Stock Option Plan on the value of the company with financial performance as an intervening variable in companies that listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2007-2015. This studies has two research model. The First Analyzes about the impact of adopting ESOP and financial performance on company value. And the second model examines the impact of adopting ESOP on Financial performance. The sample used in the first model and second model are 57 sample and 65 sample financial data of companies listed on indonesia stock exchande for the period 2007-2015 that have adopted ESOP. Based on the hypothesis test result reveals that in the first model, it shows that ESOP adoption has no direct effect on the company value, furthermore the financial performance has positive significant effect on the company value. Meanwhile, hypothesis test results shows that in the second research model, ESOP adoption has positive significant effect on financial performance. So it can be concluded that ESOP adoption can significantly impact the company value through financial performance as intervening variable. |
