Abstract
Maintaining the quality of food for restaurants is an important aspect. The cooking process that is usually done by an employee usually have different results every time, effecting the quality of the food served. To maintain the quality and consistency of the result from the cooking process, a device is needed to cook automatically and to give an option for the users to set the cooking time, the temperature of the cooking oil, and the choice to add seasoning to the food. This devce use Arduino Mega as the microcontroller to control the whole process. Inputs to the microcontroller comes from a keypad matrix to input the time and temperature of cooking, and also a type-K thermocouple. The outputs of the microcontroller control the heater of the deep fryer, DC motor, AC motor, and an electric solenoid valve. The result is a device that can deep fry automatically with the time, temperature and seasoning controlled by the user
