In 2014 around 1.9 million of adult people or 39% of adult people are overweight and 13% are obese. Coronary heart disease is a disease in which occlusion occurs in coronary artery. Obesity rate of patient with heart disease will be reviewed in this study to proves the difference in obesity rate between patient with coronary heart disease and patient with non-coronary heart disease. Method : The research used analytic design with crosssectional approach. Datas taken from medical record of heart disease patients in Atma Jaya Hospital. The analysis was done using Mann Whitney-U test to find the significance. Result : The research took 100 medical record from heart disease patients, with 53 medical records taken from coronary heart disease patients and 47 others taken from non-coronary heart disease patients. 23% of patients are classified as obesity I and 18% of patients are classified as obesity II. The Mann Whitney-U test was done resulting in p-value of 0.000 (p<0.05) which mean nil hypothesis is rejected.
