An infection caused by bacteria multiresistent would make a difficulty in medical practitioners in giving therapy and their existence in the hospital are a special attention. Aim: Knowing the existence of Acinetobacter baumannii at Rumah Sakit Atma Jaya Jakarta in 2016 Methods: This is an observational descriptive research conducted by approach cross-sectional. Data is collected by doing isolation using nutrient broth and identification using microbact . Results: Obtained from 66 sample namely 72 isolates bacteria with 22 Gramnegative and 50 Gram-positive. The data from NICU obtained 15 Gram positive bacteria and 9 Gram negative. The data from emergency room obtained 21 isolates Gram-positive and 8 isolates Gramnegative. The data from the operating room obtained 14 isolates Gram-positive and 5 Grams-negative. Conclusions: Obtained 5 isolates Acinetobacter baumannii of 3 different rooms in Atma Jaya Hospital. Acinetobacter baumannii's existence found low-risk as the cause of nosocomial infections related to its existence in an equipment and tool that should not be sterile ( non-critical device ) , but potentially as a source of infection if contact with the organ of sterile.
