Abstract
Background: Tuberculosis (TB) is one of the infectious diseases with the highest mortality rate in the world. In 2013, the prevalence of diagnosed TB in Indonesia is 0,4% and Jakarta is one of the provinces with the highest number of diagnosed TB. TB can be treated with anti-tuberculosis drugs which are consumed within 6 months period of time to be effective. There are many factors that influence treatment adherence of tuberculosis patients. Noncompliance to TB treatments is a risk that increases the incidence of Multidrug Resistant Tuberculosis (MDR-TB).

Objectives: This study was aimed to discover factors that influence treatment adherence of tuberculosis patients at Atma Jaya Hospital Jakarta.

Methods: This observational analytic study with a cross-sectional approach was conducted in Atma Jaya Hospital from July to October 2016.

Result: There were no statistical significant between knowledge, stigma, drugs side effects, family support, health care service, cost of medical treatment, feeling better after treatment, transportation, and distance to treatment adherence.

Conclusion: Majority of patients have high level of adherence at Atma Jaya Hospital Jakarta. In this study, there are no factors that influence treatment adherence among TB patients.
