Isi artikelThe model presented here addresses the crucial issues of where to place parent and family education in the spectrum of professional services to families, and how to distinguish between education and therapy in work with families. A 5-levei model of involvement with families is offered as an alternative to the dichotomous distinction between education and therapy. Implications are offered for professional training, staff development, and research and evaluation in parent and family education.
