Isi artikelThe aim in this study was to explore the effect of applying an innovative teaching strategy to promote students’ learning achievement. Students in three classes of a 4-year hotel management program participated. One class was assigned to experimental group 1, and learnt using the creative problem solving (CPS) strategy applied to a web-based cooperative learning (CSCL) method; another experimental group 2 used the CSCL, and the control group (CG), used traditional lecturing. After conducting the quasi-experiment, the collected data were analyzed by quantitative methods. Differences in achievement among the three classes reached significant levels, and the achievement of group 1 was significantly better than that of the control group.
