Abstract
PT. Kurabo Manunggal Textile Industries (PT. KUMATEX) is an industrial manufacturing company that produces products in form of textile fabric. The problem that the company faces is the high downtime that happens to its looms caused by components damage, so in the end, it hampers the production process. PT. KUMATEX itself implements preventive maintenance system and corrective maintenance, however, preventive maintenance system that they own is still not optimal since there is still no such system that underlies the replacement of components which are often damaged. Based on the existing problem, a research is conducted regarding the replacement schedule and loom components supply. The output from this research is the preventive maintenance schedule in form of replacement activities and checkups for loom components that are often damaged. Based on the replacement schedule, the calculation of critical components’ needs is performed, which is needed to calculate the component supply system. Supply systems used in this research are Q supply system and P supply system. Q supply system used is using EOQ basic model since it suits the company’s condition the most. The result of total cost calculation from both supply systems show that Q supply system with its EOQ basic model costs cheaper than P supply system which costs Rp59.037.371,- for its supply total cost.
