Abstract
Selling motorcycle in Indonesia had been increase for last several years. This trend obviously had been caused by consumer interest for buying a motorcycle was raising every year. Trend selling motor cycle increasing was impact by demand of consumer for alternate of cheap transportation utility. And since gasoline price was increasing, had stimulate consumer to find other alternate transportation with cheaper operational cost and motorcycle is the most favorite that consumer had chosen. Main goal of this experiment is to validate the influence of variable motivation and variable perception on taking decision to buying a motorcycle. For validating those variables, experiment was conducted by using survey method with distribute questioner to 50 motorcycle riders in Jl. RTM Raya, Kelapa Dua, Depok area. Sample had been interpretation with using accidental sampling techinique. Experiment result had shown that variable motivation and variable persepetion, each variables had significant influence on consumer behavior in taking decision for buying motorcyle product. And the other things, experiment result had shown that variable motivation and variabel perseption, together, variabels had significant influence on consumer behaviour in buying motorcyle product.
