The development and management of home industry producing tempe tahu and cooperation at kelurahan pegangsaan dua, kelapa gading, north jakarta. In light of economic crisis, academicians, scientists, and government institution analyze the development of home industry to help the small and medium enterpreneurs survive. Tempe - tahu industry is considered as one of the promising industries able to persevere, for these food are very popular in indonesia as well as abroad. By the help of the academicians and analysts, it is expected that the tempe - tahu home industry would be able to compete in upper - level markets such as chain grocery stores, supermarket and as an export commodity. Some constraints need to allviate would be the availability of the raw materials and the capital needed. The existing cooperation has not yet been able to assist these small and medium entrepreneurs optimally. This study was conducted at kelurahan kelapa dua, kelapa gading, in north jakarta. The purpose of this study is to gather some valid information basd on certain aspects : the entrepreneurship aspect, financial, production, marketing and human resouces aspects. Survey methods used were direct intervies and questionnaires. By analyzing the primary and secondary data, it is foreseen this study would aid to solve the constrain problems and suggest some possible favourable alternatives in managing this industry.
