The teaching of food chain concept is explained by the teacher through unvaried method, and it tends to make the students be bored to learn it. The students' motivation to understand the matter is weak, and as the result is, their achievement to this matter is low. There are about 30% of 20 students of SDN Sungai Gampa 2 at the fourth year who have mastered the matter meanwhile the 70% other have not mastered the matter yet. The purpose of this research is intended to raise the process and the achievement, and it is also intended to know the students response to the teaching of food chain concept in Natural Science subject which is done by pictorial card game. This classroom action research is done in two cycles. Each cycle is done through twice meeting. The collecting of the data is done by doing achievement test, observation and questionnaire. Teaching process result in the first cycle is 82, 6 and the second cycle is 95. Student's achievement is better than average score in the pre- test of the first cycle; in the pre-test of the first cycle, the students' average score is 65,6, and it raises to be 76,9 in the final test of first cycle and to be 87, 9 in the final test of the second cycle. The mastering of competency percentage before the first cycle teaching is 35%, and after the teaching in the first is 70% and second cycle is 90%. By the questionnaires, students' responses average score in the first is 92 and second cycle is 95, 7. The percentage of students' responses quality in the first cycle is 90%, it can be said as good achievement. Meanwhile, the percentage of students' responses quality in the second cycle is 100%, it can be said as very good achievement. The teaching of food chain material which is done by pictorial card game can raise the process and students achievement in the fourth year of SDN Sungai Gampa 2, Rantau Badauh District, Barito Kuala Regency.
