As the number of People Living with HIV/AIDS or PLWHA rise in Indonesia, so are the stigma and discriminations towards them. Previous studies indicated that stigma and discriminations may lead to lower self-esteem, hinder PLWHA’s confidence and will to seek help and medication. This study seek to study the impact of Internal Stigma and Perceived Discrimination toward PLWHA’s self-esteem. Using instruments from previous researches of Internal stigma (Rosa, 2013), Perceived Discriminations (Desi, 2014) and Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale, the study gathered 96 participant (N = 96) between age 15-59, men and women to provide their response in the research questionnaire. Statistical analysis result shown that there are no significant causality of Internal Stigma and Perceived Discriminations towards PLWHA’s self-esteem (p = 0.195 > 0.05).
