Legged robot application in technological development are very diverse, one of them is the making of hexapod robot. In this final project, the writer wil explain the design of a microcontroller-based hexapod robot. Hexapod robot has 6 pieces of legs as an actuator. The advantages of the large number of feet that are owned by the hexapod robot is able through the path uneven, and the robot is very stable because the body is supported by many feet. Robot legs will be driven by a servo motor and controlled by a microcontroller. Based on the results of design and evaluation, has successfully designed a microcontroller based hexapod robot, and can be controlled using a infrared remote.
