Basic materials which used to make of "lalangit", formerly used of natural fibre, however, now a lot of have used syntetic fibre, which becoming the problem of usage of synthetic fibre for the fisherman who not yet experienced in chosen material to be used. The Research describe of field and laboratory study with a purpose to study the physical characteristics of yam netting (breaking strength, elongation, sinking speed) and the suited trade mark for catching of fish (Anabas sp) by using "lalangit". By successively, nylon trade mark giving first biggest catching Damyl ( 500 fish), followed by Ultimate ( 42 fish), Dolphin ( 41 fish) Ikan Dua (40 fish), and then Marlin (30 fish). Damyl has lowest breaking strength, elongation and the highest of sinking speed, compared to other trade mark. With nature of fish "Betok" habit, was easily be trapped, by wrapped in, so that it can not escape again, and therefore, the yield was the highest number of fish catch.
