Isi artikel
This part of an intertextual analysis focuses on the inclusion of one text to another which is commonly called iterability consisting of three depths of intertextuality: the disciplinary goal, the intertext connection, and the historical depth. Data are analysed using text analysis taken from international journals of social sciences with A qualification that is Accounting, Organizations and Society, American Sociological Review, Educational Research Quarterly, Management Science, and Personnel Psychology. Of the five journals, the results show that in term of disciplinary goal, most are single disciplinary and one of them (Accounting, Organizations and Society) is inter-disciplinary. In inter-textual connection, three of them (Educational Research Quarterly, Management Science, and Personnel Psychology) only have two varieties: journal and textbooks as their most dominant inter-text while the other two (Accounting, Organizations and society and American Sociological Review) use the combination of journals, textbooks, newspaper, and government documents. In term of the historical depth, three of them (Personal Psychology, Management Science, and American Sociological Review) use the historical depth from 1960s to 2000s while the other two journals (Accounting, Organizations and society and Educational Research) use 1970s to 2000s. In short, the iterability in the research articles of social sciences have single and interdisciplinary goals with the intertextual connection of journals, textbooks, newspaper, and government document completed by the historical depth from 1960s to 2000s.
