| This study is aimed at examining the validity and reliability of TKD 3, which measures verbal analogy. Data (N = 606) analysed were taken from Service Bureau of Faculty of Psychology Atma Jaya Catholic University. The data consisted of scores from high schoolers and employees. The results showed that 55% items in TKD 3 were invalid measuring verbal analogy, and it was unable to discriminate the upper and lower groups. Predictive validity analysis revealed that TKD 3 was unqualified as differential test. Reliability analysis showed that TKD 3 was inconsistent measuring verbal analogy. Thus, a new test was needed to be developed as its alternative. |
