The conclusion of final projects written in English by second language learners as in other written products have complexities like the sentence structure, lexical choice, clarity. Due to this fact the conclusion of final project needs to be investigated. The study is aimed at analyzing the student made written conclusion as a text viewed on through text organization and linguistic features. The research uses qualitative approach: the conclusion texts are analyzed with the method offered by Hyland (2004: 198-206). The data are taken from the Final Project in Accounting Department of Semarang State Polytechnic in the period of 2006, 2007, and 2008. There are 335 clauses of many types and those come from 16 conclusion texts. The research finds that in text organization analysis the conclusion texts written by the students have specific staging. That is, it does not have introductory statement and the research space in the two stages of conclusion. While in linguistic features it is found that the clauses are 64% of compounded clauses with action verbs and the rest are 36% single nominal clauses. It is recommended that rhetorical teaching for written language need to consider so that students can write better using rhetoric structure of the conclusion. Further research related to final project need to conduct a corroborative study to different departments so that the result of the study is more reliable.
