Isi artikelTurner syndrome (TS) is defined as the combination of characteristic physical features and com¬plete or partial absence of the second sex chromosome, with or without cell line mosaicism in a phenotypic female. TS is associated with characteristic clinical features, the most consistent being short stature and gonadal dysgenesis. The diagnosis of TS requires the presence of typical phenotypic features and complete or partial absence of a second sex chromosome. The range of morbidities associated with the syndrome can have profound effect on quality of life, and there is a clear need for an integrated multidisciplinary approach to treatment. We report a case of Turner Syndrome in a 13 year old girl with chief complaint of short stature and not having got her period. The diagnosis was based on clinical features, laboratory findings, chromosomal analysis revealed mosaicism type. Treatment with growth hormone and estrogen were undertaken. Finally, the patient got her period and her body height increased significantly.
