Neurodegeneratif disease and brain aging constitute problem that happen on many people nowadays. Study about endogen antioxidont toward this two case still little, thereby this papper will discuss about potenty of glutathione as endogen antioxidant. Glutathione as key phisiologycal parameter can be used indicator regard status of organ function especially for cases be related to neurodegeneratif disease and brain aging. In addition glutathione also known have role of important as body defence system toward free radical. Thereby this papper will discus information about neurodegeneratif disease and brain aging that its be related to glutathione, source of reactive oxygen species in body, glutathione potention, mechanism and function of glutathione, glutathione metabolism and glutathione metabolic interaction between astrocyte and neuron and its role for neurodegeneratif disease and brain aging inhibition. Finish discussion conclude that glutathione as endogen antioxidant own potention to free radical detoxification or reactive oxygen species, especially that be related to metabolism neuron and astrocyte cell in brain. Neuron and astrocyte cell in brain strongly mutual affect especially be related to glutathione metabolism and defence system toward reactive oxygen species. Glutathione system that be found astrocyte cell can contribute against brain defence and enhance neuron protection system against reactive oxygen species effect thus neurodegeneratif disease and brain aging can inhibited
