Dengue haemorrhagic fever is an endemic in tropics especially in Indonesia. Controling the vector is one of the most efectif management of this disease while it done by destroying the masquitos nest. The monitoring of this, can be used by larva ree rate in dicator through out the examination of periodically larva per 3 months. The due of this research is to know the correlation between larva free rate with event rate of Dengue haemorrhagic fever in Kelurahan Landasan Ulin Barat January - September 2007 period. This research use case control method with analytic description study utilized correlation test Pearson Product Moment (PPM). The delta of event rate of f)engue Haemoffhagic fever periode January- September 2007 and jentik free rate periode Januari - June 2007 from secondary data of Landasan Ulin Puskesmas and the data of jentik free rate periode July - September 2007 taken from by direcly survey on the field. The sample are 100 homes in Kelurahan Landasan Win Barat that choiced by random. The result show that the larva free rate in Kelurahan Landasan Ulin Barat is still in a low level for about 69% while there is a positive correlation between larva free rate and event rate of Dengue Haemorrhagic fever in Kelurahan Landasan Ulin Barat January - September 2007 period. The correlation show point 0,86.
