Education is a prominent factor in the development of a nation. Universities in Indonesia, including Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia (AJCU), are trying to develop their students into a qualified person. One of the ways to make it happen is by infusing academic, emotional and spiritual values into the students. For AJCU, the values are representated in KUPP. The author conducted the semi-structured interview to 12 informants from all faculties in AJCU who were actively involved in organizational activities. In analyzing the verbatim data, the author used the data reduction model with some modifications into four stages of data analysis. The result of the research shows that generally the students of AJCU perceive KUPP well. They stated that KUPP is about love and moral values, soft skills, inclusivity, good organizational quality, transparancy, integrity, and caring about others. The values in KUPP are commonly accepted values, therefore they are not hard to be infused. The one value that has reached mature level is Compassion value. The research also shows that the students’ perceptions are remarkably similar with AJCU’s official statement of KUPP, despite missing an important point in Professional value and tiny details in others. Some suggestions have been given related to the findings. |
