PT. KMK Global Sports is one of the factories that produce shoes with the brand "Nike". With supplier who achieve 1671 supplier, PT. KMK Global Sports has a very high total orders per day. The number of requests it is definitely an advantage for the company. Therefore, companies are trying to do the right production so as to meet consumer demand. However, in the implementation of production is often hampered because the raw materials needed are not yet available. This is because suppliers are late in submitting raw material. This study aims to identify and evaluate the company's current logistics system, designing the proposed improvements of existing logistics system by using the application of Milk-Run System and compared with current conditions. In this study, researchers used milkrun as a method of collecting
goods in a truck at a specific time for some suppliers to follow the route that has been set to take raw materials from suppliers and send it to the raw material pabrik.Pembagian done by hand and using the help of software Lingo -Knapsack. The results obtained show that the implementation of the proposed system have an impact on improving cost efficiency, the use of a means of transportation, the use of the warehouse, inventory, and labor. Researchers suggest the company to immediately apply the methods of milk-run system to address the issue of procurement of raw materials, and maximize warehouse warehouse functions by making raw materials into semi-finished materials warehouse and warehouse finished material. |
