Isi artikelIntroduction: Elevated blood glucose IS common in the early phases of a stroke. Previous studies commonly focus on the non hemorrhagic stroke. The studies at hyperglycaemia in acute hemorrhagic strokes are still limited Method: The desk analysis was performed to secondary data from 18 hemorrhagic stroke patients The data was analyzed descriptively, The data was presented in table and graphic form. The statistical package was used for analyzing the data. Result: The data was reviewed from 18 hemorrhagic stroke patients. The mean age was 57.8 years old. Hyperglycemia was present in 22 (28.2 %) cases. The most common co-morbidities were hypertension and dyslipidemia The mortality rate was 15.2%. No evidence showed that blood glucose level was significantly higher in fatal cases Leucocyt count was significantly higher in fatal cases Conclusion: Hyperglycemia state is a very common condition in acute strokes. The understanding of the clinical course will be very important. This study does not show the correlation of hyperglycemia with in hospital mortality.
