The study of the diagnostics of molecular Human Papilloma virus (HPV) causing cervical cancer is done in order to detect if HPV causes cervical cancer accurately and quickly (compared to the Pap smear) by using a molecular diagnostic tool Hybrid Capture® II HPV DNA Test TM. The results showed that from nine specimens screened, there were seven positive out¬come infected high-risk HPV types. This is because the ratio of Relative Light Units (RLU's) on the positive specimens with an average of high-risk HPV Calibrator (HRC) has a value of more than 1 RLU's ratio value of 1 or even more than 1 will show positive results. Positive results mean high risk samples detected high-risk HPV types 16, 18, 31, 33, 35, 39, 45, 51, 52, 56, 58, 59, 68, or even a combination of several types.
