Isi artikelAdding tags to the term ‘society’ seems to sum up a great deal while actually saying very little. In the case of the widely used ‘information society’, all that gets captured is the self-evident notion that information plays an enormous part in later-modern social formations. Robert Hassan aims to move beyond the obvious in his introductory guide. Hassan attempts to review and assess the opposing dream/nightmare scenarios set out for the information society.
