Isi artikelTilo Hartmann has edited a book that focuses on media choice and that contains manuscript contributions by a group of fine scholars. According to the editor, the book is a follow-up to Selective Exposure to Communication edited by two very notable and prominent contributors to communication theory: Zillmann and Bryant. There is no doubt that Selective Exposure made a solid contribution to our theoretical knowledge pertaining to media selection. There is also no doubt, however, that the media landscape has changed a lot since Selective Exposure was published in 1985. Thus, an attempt to publish a follow-up to Selective Exposure is a worthy endeavour. According to Hartmann, Media Choice has two target audiences: scholars/researchers and media practitioners.
