Abstract
Robot is usually used to alleviate human tasks. Omnidirectional mobile robot is a robot which can make any direction of movement. Mechatronic System design for robotics included mechanical, electrical, and infomatics system design. For mechanical system design included strength and stiffness calculation for forklift. Robotino view was used for robot programming and fluidsim pneumatic V4.5 for control the movement from carriage of forklift. Robot can move automatically by following the line (automated guided vehicle) or using game controller for manual operation. From the results of planning and discussion, the mechatronic system of omnidirectional mobile robot as automated guided vehicle has been successfully designed as a material sorters based on webcam.
