Recently, many studies have been conducted on prasugrel, one of a class of drugs that is found to have a more potent effect in reducing cardiovascular events. It mainly deals with various limitation issues of clopidogrel. In some studies, prasugrel showed higher inhibition of platelet aggregation ability that it reduces ischemic events in Percutaneuos Coronary Intervention (PCI) treatment in the case of Acute Coronary Syndrome. However, the side effect of bleeding is found to increase significantly and it becomes the focus of the use of prasugrel problem.
