Abstract
This research discusses the influence of the components of technology and strategy management to competitive advantage (case study : CV.Maju Karya, Bantul, Yogyakarta). Yogyakarta is known for its local arts & crafts, one of which is the art of shadow puppets owned by CV. Maju Karya. Seeing the number of SMEs engaged in the same field with CV. Maju Kaya. CV.Maju work needs to know the potential of SMEs that can increase its competitive advantage. Several indicators are used to determine the effect of the three latent variables. Indicators for the technology component is technoware, humanware, infoware, and orgaware. Indicators for competitive advantage is knowledge, material, financial, strategy, uniqueness, experience, information systems, and company reputation. Strategic management indicator is the market share and market growth. Before knowing the influence, first determine the position of technology SMEs to be able to know whether the ability of SMEs currently has sufficient ideal conditions. Data processing technology components using a model technometric. Based on the results of data processing, it was found that the TCC value of 0.0073 and belonging to the traditional technology. Although relatively low, but the condition of the CV.Maju Karya has now reached the ideal condition. This means that SMEs have taken advantage of the ability of SMEs optimally. The next step is to test the hypothesis of the research model using software SmartPLS. Based on the results of the processing can be concluded that the H11 and H12 is accepted, this means that the components of technology and strategic management have positive influence to competitive advantage. The last stage is to analyze the position of the business strategy with BCG model. Based on the results of data processing, CV. Maju Karya in the position of Cash Cow. Each position CV. Maju Karya is seen from the strategic management and technology components , the last step is created a new strategy to improve the capability of SMEs.
