The case study in this research was conducted in CV. Maju Karya, Yogyakarta which is engaged in the manufacture of leather puppets. The purpose of this research are to design a measuring device and measure the technology components’ readiness level on the transfer technology process in CV. Maju Karya. The research was conducted in this SME because CV. Maju Karya doesn’t have a technology components’ readiness level measuring device when the technology keeps to evolve and more modern also there will be Asean Free Trade Agreement (AFTA) in 2015. The measuring device used in the form of a questionnairee consisting of 5 criterion for technoware technology component, 6 criterion for humanware technology component, 4 criterion for inforware technology component, and 7 criterion for orgaware technology component. Each criterion is divided into several sub-criteria that there are a total of 56 statements. The result of the measurement of technology components’ readiness level on the transfer technology process in CV. Maju Karya are; technoware technology component is in second stage with a score of 3.278, humanware technology component is in third stage with a score of 3.569, inforware technology component is in first stage with a score of 1.409, and orgaware technology component is in second stage with a score of 3.163.
