Isi artikelBackground : Problem Based Learning (PBL) Curricula is more effective than conventional ones. Tutorial is the core of PBL which can increase student's understanding. If students have a good perception of tutorial, they will likely have a good study achievement too. Objectives: To understand the relationship between student's perception of tutorial and study achievement in the 16th block in medical faculty of GMU Methods: This is a descriptive analytical (non experimental) research with cross sectional design. Research subject are 96 medical students of GMU 2005 that are selected by simple random sampling methods. Student's perception of tutorial are measured by questionnaire which adopted from Kassab et al, (2005). Data research are analyzed by Spearman Rank Correlation with 5% level of significant. Results: There are no significant correlation between student's perception of tutor and study achievement (rxy = -O,054;p = 0,658), between student's self perception as member of tutorial and study achievement (rxy = 0,119; p = 0,328), but there is a significant correlation (rxy = 0,255 ;p = 0,033) between student's perception of group function and study achievement, Conclusion: There is a significant correlation between student's perception of group function and study achievement in 16th block.
