Background: Skills training program in Skills Lab has very important for medical students reaching their competency before entering clerkship. Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) conducted gradually to assess students skills performance after practice in Skills Lab. Therefore, OSCE have important role on directing students learning. Method: This study exploring last year students perceptions about OSCE in faculty of Medicine Gadjah Mada University (FM GMU) (n:168) using self constructed instrument, consist of 32 questions that already valid and reliable. Result: Students show that implementation OSCE in Skills Lab FM GMU are good enough, however they give several suggestion for improving quality of the observers and management of yhe OSCE. Students realize that OSCE really useful and motivate them for practicing their medical skills in the Skills Laboratory. Conclusion: OSCE as skills training assessment tools should be evaluated and improved continuously ill order to eliminate weaknesses and reach best result.
