The development of the information technology in modern management will certainly automate all management, decisions both non programmed and programmed decisions. As a result firstly, there will be a return to recentralization rather than decentralization organization trend. This is because of the economices and centralized ocntrol encouraged by the computer and centralized information system. Secondly, the boundary between plannig and operations control would move closely due to increasing sophistication of needs for management science and information technology. The line between top management and middle management become clearer. The function of planning, controlling, and other decision making processes are held by middle managers rather than top management, and computers would effect management rather than the management would effect the computer. However, computer is to create a tool. The recent need in management information system is system that can assist the management decision making process rapidly and accurately. The types of information system needed for management, are, among other things, decision support system (DSS), executive information system, on line real time system / OLRT, inter platform information system, etc.
