Isi artikel
The purpose of this article is to describe and justify a management model for educational enterprises taht focuses on the attainment of prespecified goals as an end product. This model constitutes an attempt to manage for excellence but operates differently from others that heve been proposed (like the quality control approach). The proposed model, called outcome management, represents a method of attempteing to maximize organizational outcomes by maximizing individual contributions. The proposed model uses performance as its outcome measure and bases the allocation of resources on the quantity and quality of performance. The better an organizational unit or individual member performs, the more is gained in terms of resources to be allocated.
