Isi artikelIt was ambitious, but not impossible. UNESCO picked four countries among the world's poorest- Banghladesh, India, Nepal and Pakistan, where about 30 per cent of families line in extreme poverty and rolled them into one pilot project with a cross-cutting approach to poverty reduction. This meant specialists from diverse backgrounds-education, science, and communication-had to work hand in hand to reach marginalized girls.
