Nowadays, the distribution of goods and service through a franchise are developing very experiencing in Indonesia. Such a rapid development should be supported also by the availability of the good law. Law is neededto regulate the legal relations between the parties in order to provide better legal protection for the franchise agreement. The legal arrangements of franchise in European Union and America have been prepared very well; therefore this article will be review briefly about the franchise legal arrangements in both the European Union and America, whereas Indonesia, legal arrangements in terms of the franchise still considered very simple. Furthermore, by studying the legal arrangements in the European Union and America could provice a picture for the development of the law setting a franchise in Indonesia
