Twitter has (he power to influence and mobilize the masses. Indnnesia is also among (he biggest users ot rwitter, but with mese potentials twiner has not been used optimally by the leaders in Indonesia. This paper aims lo explain how twitter can be used by leaders to influence members through the theory of Social Identity Model of Deindividuation Effect (SIDE). Depetsoiialization and role of leaders to maintain social identity plays an important role. Recommendations are presented to improve the effectiveness of the use of twiner for leaders. |
