Trash is one of the biggest problems in the capital of Jakarta . Basically most of the waste that is generated by households with a percentage of 53% compared to 47% of industrial waste . However, existing waste is categorized into two , namely organic and inorganic waste . In fact that each person generates 1/2kg organic waste each day . This causes the accumulation of garbage in the capital . Thus the design of the tool counter on household organic waste can be a solution to solve these problems . That the design thrasher organic waste in the household based on the needs of consumers for the engine. Essentially based on the technical needs of consumers obtained a design concept thrasher organic waste which is composed of 15 components . Thrasher organic waste created has power equal to ¾ hp with a maximum capacity of 30.303 kg / hour . This machine is made up of 5 pieces of the blade by using a pulley transmission system to move the blade and has a speed of 318.182 rpm with a shear stress of 3642.781 kg.mm.
